Am I on your mind?
Am I in your heart?
Though we sit near each other,
But still miles apart!

There is a silence engulfing the air,
There are words unsaid,
There are smiles exchanged,
Still tears shed.

What is it that you go after?
Is it the sound of money?
Or is it the success,
What makes you happy,
Or if I may say, blessed?

What is that you think?
What do you hide?
What makes you react?
Or maybe terrified.

Don’t forget me,
I am part of you too,
We vowed to spend time together,
And no, it’s not the same you!
Need to be with you and that is all that I ask,
A lil bit of you, it’s not a tough task…
